Optimistic, energetic, adventurous…
These traits describe only a small snapshot of the Enneagram Type Sevens we love! Let’s dig a bit deeper…
So, each week at Wellness & Co. Amanda & Dylan (our resident relationship coaches and Enneagram teachers) hosted a “type panel” with each Enneagram type). We went through all nine types, which you can purchase and watch on your own. Contact us and you can purchase one or all nine. If you purchase all nine you’ll receive $50 off a coaching session with Amanda & Dylan!
THIS WEEK – TYPE SEVEN!

This style of learning and exploring the Enneagram is bound to give you new insights, new context to the nine types, and new pathways for growth from Type Structure to True Self!
So, in that spirit – in honor of our panel series we’ll be sharing some thoughts from YOU.
We’ve compiled reflections from all over to shed some light on our dear friends, Type Seven. Particularly, what’s it like being married to a Type Seven and what it’s like being a Type Seven Mama!
Sevens are FUN! They are energetic, optimists with a love for life. They are thrill seekers, creative brainstormers, and all about good vibes. Sometimes, their seeking new adventure can turn into a gluttony and anxiety that is hard to get a handle on. We love their playfulness and we love their excitement *and* we also love when they learn to embrace the harder emotions or hold space for themselves and others. So, what’s it like being partnered with a Type Seven? Let’s see…
HERE’S WHAT OUR DEAR FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND WELLNESS & CO. COMMUNITY SAID ABOUT BEING PARTNERED WITH A TYPE SEVEN!
- Being partnered to someone so optimistic, positive, and spontaneous brings a lot of joy into my life. As someone who likes order and gets anxious about taking risks, having someone in my life that can help alleviate that allows me to view life through a different lens, a better one.
- Being married to a 7 is…like being married to an enthusiastic driver. She’s always looking for a new destination or pushing for a new adventure. It’s also an opportunity for growth..my nature is to stay at home with my people but she forces me out of my comfort zone and I know that makes me a better, happier person. And finally, it’s a beautiful experience and I wouldn’t want her to be any other number.
- Being partnered with a 7 is an endless adventure. There is always so much love and joy around. Our relationship is full of enthusiasm, passion, and depth. As he has grown in his capacity to feel pain and suffering, the space that he can hold for him and I is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I can always count on him to add happiness to my day, to help me see the possibilities when I can’t, and live life with a lighter heart and brighter spirit.
Thank you for sharing what it is like being partnered with a Type Seven! Your words and insights are helping us continue to honor and understand the strengths and challenges of partnerships with the Enneagram Type Seven!
And what about the Mama Seven? Let’s learn more about who they are at the heart of it all …
HERE’S WHAT OUR TYPE SIX MAMAS SHARED ABOUT THEIR MOTHERHOOD EXPERIENCE!
- As a type 7 mom, I’m always ready to play. My son is always ready to play a board game or run around outside and I think being a type 7 makes that part of our relationship really fun. I will say that he is a lot more structured of a person than I am. He always wants us to have a schedule and structure. Everything always has to make sense to him. For me, it’s more fun to be sporadic and unplanned. As a type 7 mom, I’ll randomly stop what I’m doing and see if he wants to go on a drive or go get a snowball. I’m the type that closes my eyes and picks something on the menu instead of looking through it. So those kinds of behaviors can be really fun with you kids. I do find that I want there to be “good vibes” all the time. It’s difficult for me to admit that we’re in bad moods or aren’t always having the best time. I work almost constantly and when I’m not working, I’m thinking about work. Titan has made several comments about how he wishes I didn’t work so much.
So grateful for Mamas who will share their truth!
That’s a wrap! We finished our panel series on Tuesday with the Type Seven! And you can purchase them all by reaching out – take your growth to the next level and learn about each and every type!
