In that chair,
you justify your affair,
a truth of passion ignited because your husband doesn’t get you.
Your lover lays beneath you,
you won’t leave but you can’t stay.
You don’t know your own strength,
neither of them define you,
make you,
or break you.
Eventually,
you’ll be stronger.
