Another poem from the In That Chair poem series. Thank you for following along and taking an inside look at therapy through the eyes of me!
In that chair,
You want to be a woman
You don’t like who you are.
Your sadness fills the space,
anger is the norm.
Searching for a reason,
running from all freedom;
you cannot bear to disappoint them.
Unable to conform,
your life sheer confusion.
You asked me to call you by her name.
